NYPD officers help man propose to girlfriend in Queens during fake traffic stop

FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (WABC) -- NYPD officers helped a man propose to his girlfriend in Queens.

The three officers pulled the man's car over Wednesday afternoon in Far Rockaway and accused the man and his girlfriend of transporting weapons and drugs in the car.

It was all, of course a ruse - when the man's girlfriend opened the trunk, balloons came pouring out, and he got down on one knee.
