Taking in the sights and sounds of the St. Patrick's Day parade
Meteorologist Amy Freeze is live on the Upper East Side with the details.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- The annual St. Patrick's Day parade in New York City brought out a festive group of spectators this year.

The parade ran for most of the afternoon Thursday, and the weather couldn't have been much better.

We combed through social media posts to find the best photos to represent the festivities. Check them out below.
