Volunteers team up to build playground in Queens

BAYSIDE, Queens (WABC) -- A brand new playground opened in Bayside, Queens on Friday.

More than 200 volunteers from Disney, Kaboom and the Samuel Field Y rolled up their sleeves to build the play space.

The playground design was based on children's drawings and was completed in less than eight hours.

Disney is the parent company of WABC-TV.
