SOHO (WABC) -- A woman was hospitalized in unknown condition after she was struck in the head by falling debris while walking down the street in Lower Manhattan Friday afternoon.
The incident happened at the intersection of Spring Street and Broadway in SoHo around 1:15 p.m.
It is not clear at this point where the debris, believed to be a two-by-four, came from.
The 19-year-old victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a head injury.
A spokesperson with the Department of Buildings says that they are aware of the incident but they were not asked to respond.
