7-year-old Jersey City girl sings at U.S. Open

JERSEY CITY (WABC) -- A 7-year-old girl from New Jersey took a star turn at the U.S. Open Thursday night.

Audrey Sussmann from Jersey City sang "America the Beautiful" in front of thousands of tennis fans gathered in Flushing Meadows.

The USTA provided the clip of Audrey's performance to Eyewitness News.

Audrey says she wasn't nervous; she's been practicing on her karaoke machine.

One thing during the performance did surprise her, seeing her picture up on the huge jumbotron!

Audrey is already a seasoned performer.

She's played several roles at community theaters in New York and other cities.
