Brooklyn Nets help local families pay off holiday layaway items

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- The Brooklyn Nets teamed up with a non-profit organization on Sunday to help families score their layaway items.

Nets Guard Jarrett Jack was on hand at the Burlington Coat Factory store in East New York to tell customers that anything they had on layaway would be paid off.

The Nets joined forces with the organization "Pay Away the Layaway." The team also gave away tickets to see them play at the Barclays Center.
