NEW YORK -- The New York Liberty have re-signed forward Swin Cash.

The 13-year veteran averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15 games with New York after being acquired from Atlanta last July. Cash had previously spent six seasons playing for Liberty coach Bill Laimbeer in Detroit and winning the WNBA title in 2006.

"Swin understands the game and how it should be played, and she can play multiple positions," Laimbeer said in a statement released by the team announcing the signing on Monday. "Even more than that, she has a will to win and a commitment to excellence that is unmatched."

Cash has averaged 11.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 414 career games with Detroit, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago and New York.
