Manchester City's injured duo Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan have made the most of their break from first-team action by paying a visit to sister club New York City FC.

The pair visited Yankee Stadium on Saturday to watch NYCFC's Major League Soccer clash with Montreal Impact, which finished in a 1-1 draw.

Gabriel, who is expected to miss at least another four weeks of the season after breaking a metatarsal bone in his foot, visited the home dressing room.

He later posted a picture on Instagram with NYCFC midfielder Andrea Pirlo while still clutching his crutches.

Gundogan, who will miss the rest of the season after damaging his cruciate knee ligaments, also met the players and posed for pictures with NYCFC striker David Villa.

The Germany international then visited the NBC Studio on Sunday to give analysis of City's 1-1 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League.
