Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash hosted his annual Steve Nash Foundation Showdown, a celebrity charity soccer match to help benefit underserved children.

Fans had the opportunity to watch their favorite players compete up close and personal on a public field in the heart of the Lower East Side.

Some of the professional soccer players and NBA stars that participated in the event included Jeremy Lin (Brooklyn Nets), Rondae Hollis Jefferson (Brooklyn Nets), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Josh Richardson (Miami Heat), David Villa (NYCFC), Patrick Vieira (NYCFC) and more.

The Showdown's sponsors provided on-site activities such as cool soccer obstacle courses and pickup basketball for fans to enjoy. A meet-and-greet was also made available after the match.
