No. 7: Robin Ventura's grand single (1999 NLCS, Game 5)

Robin Ventura was responsible for one of the more bizarre endings in postseason history after his clutch Game 5 home run in the bottom of the 15th inning against the Atlanta Braves, which appeared to be a walk-off grand slam, ended up being ruled a single.

The Mets, attempting to make history after losing the first three games of the series, rejoiced after Ventura smacked a 2-1 fastball over the right field wall with the bases loaded. But because Ventura was mobbed by teammates after rounding first, only one runner officially crossed the plate before the on-field celebration began. And thus, Ventura was credited with only a single, but a grand single for sure.
