Yes, LeBron James supported the Cleveland Indians wholeheartedly during last season's run to the World Series.

But he also reiterated his devotionlast fall to the New York Yankees, the team he grew up rooting for because they "gave me hope of being a winner."

With New York and Cleveland set to open the ALDS Thursday night, the Yankees' Twitter account was sure to remind everyone on Thursday where The King's allegiance lies:

The photo in the Yankees' tweet is just more than a decade old, taken on Oct. 4, 2007 when the Indians hosted the Yankees to open the 2007 postseason. The image of Akron, Ohio, native James holding up the opponents' hat with a big smile on his face spawned an uproar in Cleveland, even after the Indians beat the Yankees 12-3.

Will James make an appearance Thursday night? Will he wear a Yankees cap? It would seem to only add to the intrigue of a star-studded matchup.
