CONCOURSE VILLAGE (WABC) -- Police in the Bronx are searching for a suspect wanted in an attempted rape.
It happened on Tuesday at around 5:10 a.m. in the Concourse Village section.
The suspect approached the 24-year-old woman from behind as she walked on East 161 Street and then threw her to the ground.
The suspect then lifted the victim's skirt and lay on top of her, but then ran away westbound towards the Grand Concourse.
The suspect is described as approximately 6'0" tall with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a red and white striped short sleeved shirt, a black watch on his left wrist, light blue jeans, white sneakers, and a baseball cap with stickers on the brim.
