NYPD searching for suspect in thefts of expensive jackets

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for the person who stole several pricey jackets and designer glasses.

Police released surveillance photos of the man who swiped three expensive jackets from high-end clothing boutiques in Midtown and the West Village last month.

The jackets are worth a total of nearly $13,000.

He is also suspected of stealing four Gucci eyeglass frames from a Lens Crafters store in Midtown back in May.

Police issued this description: male, white, light complexion, 45-55 years of age, last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jacket, tan shoes and blue pants.
