Teen found fatally shot inside Queens stairwell

Joe Torres has the details after a teen was found fatally shot inside a stairwell in Far Rockaway.

FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (WABC) -- Police are investigating the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in Queens.

Trevor Rudd was found dead inside a stairwell at the Beach 41 Street Houses in Far Rockaway on Saturday afternoon with gunshot wounds to his torso.

Rudd lived in the building.

A 31-year-old man considered a person of interest has been taken into custody. Police have also recovered a gun.
