BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- A woman suspected of attacking another woman with a tire iron turned herself in to police Wednesday.
Police announced earlier this month that they were looking for Gloribel Serrano, 27, of the Bronx, in connection with an attack May 12. Around 2:30 a.m., according to the New York City Police Department, a woman approached another woman near East Bedford Park and Marion Avenue in the Bronx, and hit her on the head with a tire iron.
The victim was treated and released from a hospital.
Serrano turned herself in to police around 2 p.m. Wednesday and is charged with felony assault.
