TOMS RIVER, N.J. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man in Toms River who was caught on camera trying to knock down a statue in New Jersey.
Around 3:20 a.m. June 14, a man damaged a life-size sculpture at 216 Main St. in downtown Toms River. The man is seen on surveillance video trying to push it over before finally succeeding.
Twenty bronze statues are placed around the business district in Toms River as a loan from the Seward Johnson Grounds for Sculpture. Each weighs more than 1,000 pounds.
