BABYLON (WABC) -- It started with a voicemail. Now, more than ever, Mayerline and Christine wish they could hear their cousin Myriam's voice one last time. Now, none of this is possible after Myriam, her 3 kids and her mother were all killed late Saturday night in a fiery crash along the Southern State Parkway.

Police say Myriam was driving her Honda Accord when for some reason, she ran off the road, the car struck a tree and burst into flames, killing everyone.

Labrun and another adult, along with three children, were pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims have been identified as Marcus Jeanty, 14, Marcel Jeanty, 9, Kayla Jeanty, 8 and Moise Yolande, 68.

Relatives gathered at what is home base for this family, where Myriam grew up. Saturday she spent the day with her sister, Vayola in Brentwood. She then headed back to Brooklyn, but never made it.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.

Anyone who saw the accident is urged to call New York State Police at 631-756-3300.

The highway was closed for over four hours, re-opening at about 3:30 a.m.

The family has created a fund to help pay for the funerals. You can learn more at http://www.gofundme.com/dhyelc
