Man says he was pushed onto train tracks at Manhattan subway station

The search is on for the man who pushed another man onto the subway tracks on the Lower East Side early Thursday morning.

It happened at about 3:45 a.m. at the East Broadway F train station near the Rutgers/East Broadway intersection.

The victim, a 58-year-old man said another man pushed him onto the tracks while he was standing on the platform.

The victim was not struck by a train. He was taken to the hospital to get checked out.

The man who pushed him got away on a nearby F train.
