Pedestrian seriously injured after hit by car in Crown Heights, Brooklyn

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Brooklyn Thursday morning.

The 74-year-old pedestrian was hit just after 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Rockaway Avenue in the Crown Heights section.

He was taken to Interfaith Medical Center in serious condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene, and no charges are expected.
