Queens accident near JFK Airport leaves 2 hurt

QUEENS (WABC) -- Two people were injured in a two-car crash just outside John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens early Tuesday afternoon.

The cars collided at Rockaway Boulevard and Guy R Brewer Boulevard in Brookville just before 12:30 p.m.

One man went to Jamaica Hospital in cardiac arrest. An update on his condition is not known.

A second person was also transported to the hospital, but was reported to be in stable condition.

The crash backed up traffic for miles in both directions.
