School bus fire on Nassau Expressway in Queens

QUEENS (WABC) -- A school bus burst into flames on the Nassau Expressway Wednesday morning.

Newscopter 7 was over the scene when smoke poured from the bus as firefighters battled the flames.

The driver and bus matron made it off the bus safely.

No children were on the bus at the time.
