SPARTA, New Jersey (WABC) -- Nobody was home when a street sweeper crashed into a home in Sparta, New Jersey on Monday.
Police responded to the residence on Indian Terrace in the Lake Mohawk section just after 9 a.m. to investigate the accident.
According to the report, Robert Meng was working alone outside of the vehicle that was parked on a hill. After Meng placed a leaf blower into the truck, the parking brake was disengaged and the street sweeper rollsed down the 150 foot hill.
Meng chased after the vehicle and sustained a knee injury.
