NEW YORK -- In 1980, Central Park Conservancy was founded by a group of concerned citizens determined to reverse the decline of Central Park. On the eve of their 35th Anniversary, they look back at that time to reflect on how far they've come.
Join them at the 2015 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival for classic films from the year 1980!

Tuesday, Aug. 25: Fame (R)
Wednesday, Aug. 26: The Blues Brothers 1973(R)
Thursday, Aug. 27: Airplane! (PG)
Friday, Aug. 28: Raging Bull (R)
Saturday, Aug. 29: Superman II PG)
Films are shown in the landscape north of Sheep Meadow, beside the cafe (mid-Park at 69th Street). Enter the Park at 72nd Street.
