It happened in Queens as the man returned from dropping off his daughter.

Police released video of a suspect who may be responsible for murdering a father in his Queens driveway as he was returning from dropping his young daughter off at school.

They believe the person in the video may be the suspect who waited outside of 58-year-old Mario Cesar's home in St. Albans before stabbing him to death on June 28.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Cesar laying on his right side in the driveway of his 116th Avenue home. He reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds to his face, neck and body.

Emergency responders rushed him to Franklin General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the suspect fled the scene on foot then enter a silver four-door Chevrolet Impala near 116th Avenue and 200th Street. A second individual was driving the car.

The suspect was described as a black man who was last seen wearing black-and-white gloves, a purple bucket hat, a black hooded coat, purple pants and dark colored shoes. There's no description for the driver of the vehicle.

Police said the suspect also cut the cords of a surveillance camera at a neighbor's home the day before the murder.

When speaking about her husband and father of her 4-year-old daughter Annabelle after the murder, Marie Cesar could barely breathe, let alone talk,

"He is a great father, a good man, a good husband. He was very nice," she said.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
