7 snow photos that will make you glad you're in New York City this Christmas Eve

In New York City, the typical Christmas Eve means frigid temperatures, bone-chilling wind gusts and snow. Not this year.

The city and much of the Northeast is on track to have a warmer Christmas Eve than most Southwest cities and even Los Angeles.

On the other coast and in desert states, the people there are bundling up.
