HOWELL, New Jersey (WABC) -- Multiple tornadoes were confirmed near Howell, New Jersey on Saturday morning, the National Weather Service confirms.

The EF-O tornadoes were reported at 7:21 and 7:27 Saturday morning.

Brett Dzadik, a viewer who took the video around 7:30 a.m., said he was at a Home Depot at 1990 Rte 9 South.

There were tornado warnings for southeastern Mercer County, northern Monmouth County and southeastern Middlesex County. They were canceled at 7:15 a.m.

Parts of the New York and New Jersey areas on Saturday morning got a little taste of Tropical Depression Cindy with severe thunderstorm warnings and flood advisories.

Most of those had been canceled by later morning. The rain stopped, and then brought less humid air and a breeze.

Thousands of homes and businesses lost power when trees and utility lines were knocked down by the storms that contained heavy rains and strong, gusty winds.
