Snowy weather makes its way into Kansas, Colorado

People in Kansas are experiencing the first snowfall of the season.

The snow passed through Saturday morning.

It was clearer there Sunday, but wind chills were still expected to be in the single digits.

People also woke up to snow Sunday morning in Colorado.

Since this state is known for its skiing, that's actually good news.

The ski resorts near Denver saw more than 16 inches of snow over the last two days.

The storms are expected to pass through later, after leaving a couple more inches on the ground.
