Man taken into custody before pope?s Mass in Philadelphia
A man was taken into custody just a short time before Pope Francis arrived at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

PHILADELPHIA -- A man was taken into custody just a short time before Pope Francis arrived at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Center City Philadelphia on Saturday morning to celebrate Mass.



Action News was there as the man was led away by the Secret Service and Philadelphia Police. He has not been identified.



It's not known of the man has been charged, or if he's a suspect in a crime.



Sources tell Action News reporter Annie McCormick that the man was acting suspiciously and was asking a number of questions about Pope Francis' route and what type of security was out there.



He was also allegedly asking law enforcement officers a number of questions that made them suspicious.
