NJ Transit resumes after overhead wire issues impact Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line rail service will operate with limited service in both directions and is subject to up to 90-minute delays after overhead wire issues prompted suspensions early Monday.

Morris and Essex and Montclair Boonton Line rail service is subject to up to 60-minute delays in both directions due to congestion resulting from the overhead wire issues that occurred near North Elizabeth.

Westbound trains are bypassing Newark International Airport, North Elizabeth, and Elizabeth. Eastbound trains are bypassing Elizabeth and North Elizabeth due to overhead wire issues near Newark International Airport.

NJ Transit rail tickets and passes are being cross honored on PATH, NJ Transit, private careers and PATH at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd St. NY.
