Suspect arrested in robbery, attack on 2 women at Brownsville medical supply store

BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police arrested a homeless man in connection with the attack on two employees at a Brooklyn medical supply store.

The NYPD says S5-year-old Shamrock Gamble was armed with a gun when he walked into the Belmont Medical & Surgical Supply on Belmont Avenue in Brownsville Feb. 24 and demanded money.

When one worker refused, police say the suspect punched and kicked her, then hit her with his gun. Another woman working at the store gave him $80 before he fled.

Gamble is facing several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.

2 women attacked at Brownsville medical supply store

The first woman was taken to Brookdale Hospital where she was treated and released. There were no other reported injuries.
