BLUE POINT, Long Island (WABC) -- There was a shocking moment for one family on Long Island after a car crashed through the side of their home Monday morning.
Police say a 2015 Hyundai was driving on Montauk Highway in Blue Point just before noon when a van tried to cross at Division Avenue.

The vehicles collided, sending the out-of-control car careening through the side of the house.
Three people were inside the house at the time, but amazingly, no one was hurt.

The driver of the car was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue to be treated for minor injuries, while the driver of the van was issued a ticket for failing to yield.
