CENTEREACH, Long Island (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in a home in Centereach Thursday morning.
Suffolk County police the body of the 40-year-old woman was discovered at the Towne Lane home around 10 a.m.

Officers had visited the home for a wellness check and found Rachelle Weeks-Strub dead in her basement apartment.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Suffolk County medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
