79-year-old killed when fire rips through Brooklyn brownstone

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 79-year-old woman was killed when flames ripped through a Brooklyn brownstone.

Flames broke out just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Quincy Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Firefighters found Elizabeth Mahone inside. She died at the scene.

Fire marshals are still trying to determine what sparked the fire.
