Video from Citizen App showed the fire that broke out just after midnight in the 2800 block of West 19th Street in Coney Island.

The flames quickly spread to six other attached homes.
Everyone was able to make it out safely, though three firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
The fire department dealt with hot spots throughout the morning. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but neighbors complained that too many people lived at the home where the fire started.
The owner did not want to speak to Eyewitness News.

The residents of three homes were left homeless.
The Red Cross relocated 16 adults and two children.
