Dogs displaced by Hurricane Harvey arrive in NYC, Connecticut

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Tri-State area is helping dogs displaced by Hurricane Harvey.

20 dogs arrived at the New York City ASPCA adoption center on the Upper East Side Monday evening.

Another 21 are headed to the Connecticut Humane Society.

The shelter dogs were driven here in a special animal transport vehicle.

Their shelter in Corpus Christi, Texas was evacuated.

The pooches are expected to go up for adoption soon.
