Man fatally struck by charter bus in East Harlem

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- It's not clear if charges will be filed against the driver of a charter bus that struck and killed a pedestrian in Manhattan on Wednesday.

Newscopter 7 was over the scene late afternoon at East 99th Street and 2nd Avenue.

Police say a 39-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released, was crossing East 99th Street when he was hit.

He was pinned under the bus and died at the scene.
