Bodies of 2 missing fishermen recovered in waters off Connecticut

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut (WABC) -- The search for two missing fishermen in the waters off Connecticut has come to a tragic end.

Authorities say the bodies of 40-year-old Jose Cruz and 32-year-old Victor Paulino were recovered near Fairfield.

Both men are from Yonkers.

Six people fishing near Penfield Reef were swept out to sea just before 8 a.m. Saturday.

Three managed to swim back to shore, while a Fairfield marine unit rescued the fourth survivor.
