Police say the first shooting happened after 11 p.m. Wednesday when a man was shot in the neck on Schenectady Avenue. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

A person of interest in that shooting was quickly taken into police custody.
Officials say the second shooting happened on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Rockaway Avenue in Crown Heights just before 11:30 p.m.
A 28-year-old was found in his car with gunshot wounds to his torso. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
Detectives discovered evidence of a shooting about a block away near Herkimer Place. Officials are still searching for the gunman.
At around 1 a.m. Thursday, police were called to Second Street in Park Slope. Authorities say a 34-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were found unresponsive with gunshot wounds to their heads.

The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say a firearm was found near the man's body.
This shooting is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
Officials say these shootings are not related, but all are under investigation.
