David Novarro has more on the NYPD truck catching fire in Columbus Circle Thursday morning.

COLUMBUS CIRCLE, Manhattan (WABC) -- An NYPD truck hauling metal barricades caught fire in Columbus Circle on Thursday morning.

The FDNY quickly responded to put the fire out.

The fire caused a smoky condition in the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

There is still no word on what sparked the fire.
