WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A massive fire in Brooklyn was finally brought under control Saturday morning.
Firefighters battled the flames at a scrap metal yard in Williamsburg for several hours overnight.

Officials say the fire started in a large pile of scrap metal and kept smoldering.
Firefighters say the cold weather made it difficult to control the fire.
