CYPRESS HILLS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Six firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a fire in Brooklyn Monday night.
The fire broke out around 7 p.m. at a two-story home in Cypress Hills.

It spread to an adjacent home and took over two hours to extinguish.
175 firefighters responded, with the frigid weather making their efforts more difficult.

13 people were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
