Detective Aida Pabey is in the Crime Scene Unit and her sister Haydee is also with the NYPD.
These hard working first responders lost their mom Elba, who was at a nursing home when the COVID crisis began.
They have since joined many others who lost loved ones on the Facebook group Voices for Seniors in a quest to get answers about how their mother died.
Thanks to them for their service to the city, and we appreciate the efforts to give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
