OAKLAND, California -- A Wake County 9-year-old boy who's battling Stage 4 brain cancer had one of his biggest wishes granted Thursday.

Khamari Campbell, of Garner, got up close with NBA star Steph Curry.

Not only did he watch Curry practice, No. 30 also signed a Golden State Warriors basketball for him. He even signed Khamari's shoes.

Khamari's dad, Terek Campbell, said it was an emotional and overwhelming moment for him and his son.

"It probably meant the world to him," Terek Campbell said. "He won't ever forget this; me neither; we both will never forget this."

Khamari, his dad, his mom, Arlecia, and his sisters, Khalaya, 16, and Khamora, 3, were in the stands Thursday night watching Curry's Warriors take on the New York Knicks.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation made this amazing moment possible.

The community has started a GoFundMe page to help with Khamari's brave battle.
