WESTERLEIGH, Staten Island (WABC) -- The search is intensifying for the driver who hit a child and drove away on Staten Island last month.
Police released surveillance video on Tuesday of the hit-and-run on August 2nd that left a 12-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle, with a broken leg.

The newly released video shows a white four-door Jeep Wrangler with a black top making a getaway from the scene at the intersection of Leonard Avenue and Neal Dow Avenue in the Westerleigh section.
