New York City's 2nd annual Japan Parade returns for celebration of Japanese culture

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A celebration of Japanese heritage and culture returned to Manhattan on Saturday.

The second annual Japan Parade took over Central Park West between 81st Street to 67th Street.

Olympic gold medalist and figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi served as the grand marshal. Mayor Eric Adams also marched


This was the second year for the event -- one that is sure to become a New York City tradition.
