JetBlue considers building new terminal at JFK Airport

Saturday, July 22, 2017
JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) -- JetBlue may be flying back to its original home at JFK Airport.

The airline is in early talks to build a new terminal.

The move comes after New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced a $10 billion plan to revamp the airport.

JetBlue previously flew out of the now-demolished Terminal 6.

That building was torn down in 2011 and JetBlue moved to Terminal 5, which it plans to connect to future expansions.

The company says this process will increase capacity, improve traveler experience and expand operations with partner airlines.
