Person struck by train in Bay Shore causes partial LIRR suspension

BAY SHORE, Long Island (WABC) -- LIRR service was partially suspended after a person was struck by a train in Bay Shore, Long Island on Tuesday night.

Service was partially suspended between Babylon and Patchogue in both directions.

Service has since been restored.

There's no word yet on what led to the incident, or the condition of the person who was struck.
