Man arrested after throwing hot water on 4 people in unprovoked attacks: NYPD

MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A man is under arrest after police say he threw hot water on four different people in unprovoked attacks in Midtown on Wednesday.

Larry Martin, 42, is charged with assault and is currently being evaluated at a hospital.

He is suspected in the following attacks:

-7 a.m.: At Lexington Avenue and E. 44th Street, Martin allegedly threw hot water on man from Massachusetts.

-7:45 a.m.: At Avenue of Americas and 57th Street, Martin allegedly threw hot water on a 49-year-old female's face.

-8:15 a.m.: At 7th Avenue and 42nd Street, Martin reportedly threw hot water on a 25-year-old woman's face.



-8:30 a.m.: At 35th Street and 9th Avenue, Martin is accused of throwing hot water on a 27-year-old woman's face.
