Skydiver gets stuck in tree in Monroe Township, New Jersey

MONORE TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Rescue crews in New Jersey have freed a skydiver who got stuck in a tree and was dangling 70 feet above the ground.

Emergency crews in Gloucester County got a call around 5 p.m. Tuesday that the skydiver had crashed into the trees.

It happened at 5 on the 300 block of Dalia Avenue in Monroe Township.

Authorities say the skydiver was hanging about 70 feet above ground when they got there.

It took them a little more than an hour to free the person.

No word on any injuries.
