Police in Montclair are searching for a man who tried to lure an 11-year-old girl in his car.

MONTCLAIR, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police in Montclair, New Jersey are looking for a man who tried to lure an 11-year-old girl in his car.

The suspect told the girl it was cold outside, and offered her a ride, officials say.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning. When the girl refused a ride, the suspect drove away.

Police say he was in a brown newer-model SUV.
